Ageing is inevitable, how you age is a choice

Train smarter, stay pain-free, healthy, and outperform your contemporaries

Most people think I’ve always been this mobile, strong, and pain-free.

They’re wrong.

At 31, I was a world champion powerlifter. Stronger than ever. Lean, focused, driven.

But beneath the surface? I was falling apart.

I was training like a machine, while quietly being held together by ibuprofen, denial, an accumulation of injuries, and pig-headedness.

Then one morning, it all snapped.

I was flat on my back, lying on the living room floor. Literally, stuck. Couldn’t get up.

Like a turtle flipped over.

A thought hit me like a freight train:

“If this is me at 31… what the hell will I be like at 40?"

That was my wake-up call.

The pain. The stiffness. The immobility and fragility I swore I’d never have… it was already taking hold.

And I realised:

Strength is meaningless if you can’t move well. Not if you’re breaking while trying to prove you’re unbreakable.

My life took a significant turn when I became a father at 39.

Now I have a daughter. And suddenly, the goal wasn’t a podium or a PB.

It was playing on the floor, throwing her overhead and keeping up at the park. Help her move into her first home in the decades ahead.

Not being the guy she’s embarrassed by at school pickup, or the fragile old man her future boyfriend could bench press.

But I was still dealing with elevated blood pressure, chronic stiffness, and a body riddled with chronic musculoskeletal issues; moving like C-3PO in a rainstorm.

So I made the choice most people avoid:

✅ Rebuild the body. From the ground up.

✅ Train for health, function, and pain-free with a body that performs for LIFE.

✅ Learn to move again like an athlete. But smarter.

Now, at 50, I am moving better than I was at 30. It's not because I train harder, but because I finally trained and lived in a way that supports that. This transformation is what I want to inspire in you.

Not because I train harder.

Because I finally trained smarter.

That’s what I help others do now.

I work with men and women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who have tried everything and are still stuck.

Still in pain. Still frustrated. Still wondering if this is just “part of getting older".

It’s not.
